About The Prince's Trust Business Finder
Since 1983, The Prince’s Trust has helped over 78,000 young people to start businesses through the provision of financial and mentoring support and it continues to support around 1500 more each year.
Business Finder is a central feature of the support The Trust offers. It serves three purposes:
Directory of Trust-supported Businesses
Young people running a business which they originally started with support from The Trust can register their details in Business Finder to promote their services to members of the public and organisations that support The Trust’s work. Through their Business Finder account they can ensure their details are kept up to date.
Enterprise Network
Once a business has been trading three years, and as long as they have repaid any loans that they borrowed from The Trust, they are eligible to join The Trust’s alumni - Enterprise Network.
Enterprise Network was started in 2009 to encourage networking amongst Trust-supported businesses, to allow The Trust to keep in better contact with the young people it has supported and to enable it to offer them further support.
Enterprise Network members are also listed in the Business Finder directory and are distinguished from other businesses by a gold and red star.
Support Offers
Through their Business Finder account, Trust-supported businesses can access a portfolio of support offers that The Trust maintains to support them to run their businesses more effectively and efficiently. There are many offers, for example discounts on websites, market stalls and bank accounts. The Trust also runs a series of seminars and workshops to help young people to develop specific areas of their business.
